FANCY PAWS TERMS OF SERVICE
Acceptance of Pets:
Fancy Paws does not groom any dogs that are pregnant or in heat.
Fancy paws does not groom any dogs that are recovering from illness or injury
Additional Fees and Termination of Grooming:
An additional fee may be charged for convalescent or geriatric pets.
Fancy Paws reserves the right to terminate grooming if there is a risk to the pet or groomers health and safety, charges will apply for services performed.
Aggressive Pet Policy:
Clients must inform Fancy Paws of any history of pet aggression.
The use of a muzzle may occur without prior permission, and additional fees may apply for aggressive behavior.
Clients are solely responsible for damages caused by their pet's behavior.
Veterinary Care:
In the event of a pet needing non grooming related veterinary care, Fancy Paws will make reasonable attempts to contact the client. If contact is not possible, immediate veterinary care will be obtained at the owner's expense.
In the event of a pet needing grooming related veterinary care, Fancy Paws will make reasonable attempts to contact the client. If contact is not possible, immediate veterinary care will be obtained at Fancy Paws expense.
Mat Removal and Safety Measures:
A fee may be charged for mat removal, and heavily matted pets will be shaved for safety.
Fancy Paws is not liable for cuts, scratches, or irritations resulting from grooming, including injuries due to mat removal, pet behavior, or natural causes.
Client Presence During Grooming:
Clients agreeing to retrieve their pet before the grooming process is complete must wait outside the pet's view. Failure to comply may result in the immediate termination of services and full charges.
Flea and Tick Discovery:
If fleas are discovered during grooming, a flea bath may be administered, and ticks will be removed. Additional fees may apply for these services.
Kenneling Fee:
A kenneling fee may be charged if the client fails to pick up their pet within 20 minutes of completion time
There will be a 20 minute grace period after appointment completition.
Kenneling will be charged at $8.00/15 minutes after the grace period.
By-Appointment Grooming and Cancellation Policy:
All grooming is by appointment.
A cancellation fee, equal up to half of the service price, will be charged for no-shows.
A 15-minute grace period is permitted without prior authorization.
Failure to cancel within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee equal to half the total grooming cost.
No Show/No Call Policy:
Failure to cancel within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee equal to half the total grooming cost.
After two occurrences, clients must prepay for future appointments.
